"Sustainable printing" is a concept that refers to a sustainable and environmentally friendly approach in the printing industry. It aims to reduce the negative environmental impact of any type of printing process by using various measures, materials and technologies that are more environmentally friendly.

Here are some of the steps we at AMATI PRINT are taking to reduce our environmental impact and offer new printing options to our customers who are concerned about reducing their environmental footprint.

Paper choice: We offer our customers the choice between recycled paper and paper from sustainable farms in an effort to reduce the environmental impact of wood pulp production processes.

Reduce the amount of paper used: Reduce waste on print jobs by correctly calculating the amount of material needed and using surplus paper for other projects or recycling, for example by filling empty spaces in shipping boxes.

Energy efficiency: Use energy-efficient technologies that reduce energy consumption in the printing process.

Water-based inks: we choose certified water-based inks for packaging printing. Memjet solutions use water-based inks that are 100% free of reactive chemicals, making them safer to use and more environmentally friendly. Packaging can be broken down and recycled with corrugated board.

Digitalisation: we use digital printing technology which does not require printing plates, clichés, etc., thus reducing chemical waste.

Responsible Production: We choose printing equipment suppliers and printing material suppliers, logistics companies that actively implement sustainable practices and resource management.
