How to prepare the layout correctly?
1. Prepare and submit the design in PDF format.
2. Each page should be automatically centred, no need to lay out.
3. The fonts in the layout must be converted to curves
4. images to be used in the layout must have a resolution higher than 200dpi.
5. the layout must be in the CMYK colour palette. RGB or Pantone cannot be 100% printed exactly as in the layout. A print proof can be printed at an additional cost to ensure that the colours are consistent with the mock-up.
6. For accurate print job execution, cropmarks must be present on the layout. The layout must extend beyond the crop lines a minimum of 3mm on each side.
Folding or creasing lines must be indicated. Do not bend or text too close to the cutting edges.
7. We recommend that you include as much information as possible about the print file itself in the file name of the layout.
8. It is preferable to include a JPG or printout of how the print should look.
If you have any questions about the layout, please contact our layout artists or project managers.
